Ariel was beyond excited today. Not only was she going to see Eric, but she had managed to convince her father that she was going exploring and would be gone for quite some time. She wanted to spend every moment with Eric.
When she had made it to the beach, she began skipping along. She was in such a great mood today, that the pain was negligible compared to her happiness. She spotted Eric at the other end of the beach and took off at a dead run.
“Eric! ERIC!!”
Hearing his name, he turned around to see Ariel bounding toward him. He ran to meet her half way, spinning her around in happyness as Max barked at their feet.
“Ariel!” He said quietly into her hair as he hugged her. “God, I missed you. is it odd that I missed you this much? I hope not” He told her quietly, before kissing her swiftly, letting it linger for a few moments.
“Your father wasn’t mad, was he?”
-laughs while looking at the ground- I don’t know Flynn, I don’t want to rush into things, risk the chance of scaring her off. I don’t wanna lose her ya know? But thanks man, I’m just happy i found her.
Very true. Yeah…she’s amazing. I’ve never met someone I had so much in common with, she just gets it.
